What Do You Know About Brown Wigs?

Brown wigs are very popular because they look natural hair looks more appealing than any other color. For the past few years I have been taking a lot of pictures of my clients, so here is a quick guide to the different types of brown wigs you can choose from.

The first thing that a person notices when looking at a brown wig is the big difference in texture between the hair and the scalp. Even though most people believe that all wig wigs come with a feathery, silky feel, it is not true. That being said, it will take some time to get used to the new texture of the wig because you will be trying to do so many things with it such as moving your head and hair. Even so, this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Another thing you might notice is that there is a strange feeling of tingling in your scalp after a while with the texture. This is perfectly normal because the hair on your head acts like a sponge, absorbing the texture very quickly and smoothing it out over time. It can become uncomfortable because of this, but it is normal. In fact, this is why I suggest you try the texture out for at least an hour or two before going to sleep.

When looking at the texture of a wig, you might also notice that there is something called the cornrow, which is a thin line that connects the hair and the scalp. This happens because the hair is actually twisted around the head before being applied to the wig. These cornrows can vary in color so they can either be black, brown, or even gray.

Just about any type of wig can have a cornrow if you know what type of wig you are buying. Unfortunately, it is usually not possible to tell before you start buying because a large number of manufacturers do not make any representations on how their wigs will look once applied to your scalp. Usually you have to rely on your sense of intuition and decide if a particular wig has a cornrow or not.

The biggest issue you will encounter is trying to find a cornrow so that you don't have to deal with the thin line. You can find these on a small number of wigs, but they are often sold individually. You can find a lot of variation, but they generally have a similar design.

Of course, there is no problem buying a wig that is a colored wig and then trying to find a real hair to create the texture with. It can be tricky to do this because each wig will have its own unique coloring. However, you can still use a dye to create the same effect.

Hopefully this article has given you a basic idea of the different types of wigs available. If you are interested in purchasing a brown wig, you should first visit an experienced wig specialist who can help you figure out exactly what you need.
