With wigs in such high demand, lace front wig manufacturers have been stocking up on hair and lace (the base material that human-hair is sewn onto) to keep up with the sudden spike in orders. While the inventory isn't quite where it should be due to the pandemic, experts say there are still plenty of worthwhile options out there. Aasiyah Abdulsalam, the founder of Wig Fix, recommends Chia V Hair because they have "an amazing selection." She notes to look for HD or film lace and 150 percent density, saying that anything below 130 will be too thin. She also likes what's known as a full-lace wig, which covers the entire head and is often worn with bantu knots. It's more expensive, but worth the investment.
