How to Put on a Multicolor Wig
Multicolor Wig for adult Halloween costumes can be fun to buy, but they can also be difficult to put on. Here are a few hints that will help get your multicolor wig on in no time. If you're wearing a dark skin tone to be aware that just about all multicolor wigs look best on you if you are wearing a dark costume, usually charcoal or black. For white skin, just try mixing the dye a little bit lighter.
Before putting on your multicolor wig, you'll want to make sure it is in the same size as your head. You can do this by first taking a measurement with a tape measure. You want to make sure that it is one to two inches smaller than your head. Once you have that figured out you'll want to get the wig on. It's easiest to just start off with the wig on and then put it on so that it is the correct length and style. You'll want to take the wig completely off after you are done putting it on, so that it is all one piece.
The first thing you'll want to do is make sure that your wig is clean. Get a soap and water solution and mix it together. Then apply it to your hair. Wash it out thoroughly and then try to pull a few strands of your hair out so that the rest won't stick to the wig. Try to leave it as straight as possible.
After you have washed out your multicolor wig, you will then want to put it on. You should probably put the rest of your hair into a secure ponytail so that it doesn't move around on you. Use a clasp or a ponytail tie if you don't have one. Next put it on so that the clasps aren't coming off.
There are multicolored wigs out there in a wide range of colors and patterns. So don't be afraid to get more than one. But you will want to make sure that the other one matches it closely. If they are too different you might not like your look and this is why you are putting the other one on.
Once you have put your multicolor wig on, you will want to take a look at the back of it. See if it all looks good. If you have any extra hairs that weren't included with the original, you will want to trim them so that they all match up. You can easily do this yourself with a pair of scissors.
