Vanity is an accomplished drag queen and performs at shows throughout Australia. She is also the founder of 'Wigs by Vanity', a Sydney-based drag wig and costume company. She has worked on numerous projects across the globe including being a wig designer on Priscilla the Musical in Sydney, London, Milan and Brazil.

In 2003 Vanity, along with Courtney Act (a former finalist on Rupaul's Drag Race) launched Wigs by Vanity. Inspired by the flawless lace-front wigs worn by Rupaul herself, Vanity learnt to hand-knot each individual hair strand by strand, and used her business savvy to travel to China and meet with manufacturers to source a quality product at an affordable price for Australia's poorly paid drag queen community.
